Situation

A proptech company ran member-facing apps and an internal back office for contracts, accounting and branch management, on infrastructure built on AWS EC2.

What I did

  • Built and maintained a Node.js (Express) REST API with a Vue.js back office for contracts, accounting, space and branch management
  • Designed two-way data sync and integration APIs for Salesforce and SAP
  • Automated integrations with third-party services such as printers
  • Worked on the member web app (Vue.js) and mobile app (React Native)
  • Moved the infrastructure from EC2 to Kubernetes (EKS) with Terraform and GitHub Actions

Result

The back office, the Salesforce and SAP sync and the member apps shared one API, and deploys moved from EC2 to Kubernetes through GitOps.
